Segmented Dot Matrix Labels (SDMs)

Segmented Dot Matrix labels are a low cost, intelligent label that adds value to a retailer not only through automatic price changes but also being able to capture, store and display different types of data that increase the efficiencies in retail operations.

Available in two and three line displays the SDM label satisfies all key criteria for price point display including unit pricing. With additional capabilities and built in features such as flashing, chaining and scrolling words that increase shopper interaction, particularly for specials.

The SDM label is able to store up to 31 unique packets of information such as prices, words, stock and sales data making it the most practical and multifunctional ESL on the market. Store operations data can be updated through a store’s POS system and sent automatically to all labels. It can be displayed en mass or alternatively with the use of ILID’s specially developed ‘Info Wand’ a label can be interrogated to display specific information for a particular product.

The SDM range of electronic shelf labels are best, multipurpose, low cost label on the market.

Adding Value to Store Operations

For instance, a store conducting stock-take is able to send a stock-on-hand file to be displayed on all labels. This feature has the advantage in assisting store staff to count accurately and validate the stock-on-hand count against the store's inventory system.

Space is a premium in store and where products are displayed in hang-sell (peg hook) format or have narrow-facings on a shelf a regular shelf label is not suitable. As a result ILID have designed the ‘MM’ model of SDM labels allowing for greater flexibility of use ESL within a store.

With the same characteristics and functionality of the ‘SM’ model the ‘MM’ is a smaller version
